Dr. Melin Moses grew up in the DC area and attended college there, followed by medical school in California. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He had a friend from Hamlin, WV, and while visiting him and his family, he fell in love with the state. He did his residency in West Virginia, and has since been a West Virginian for nearly 3 decades. Dr. Moses began his medical career with a group practice, and then shifted to the private practice which he has been doing for over 18 years.
Dr. Moses worked with babies affected by Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome at St. Mary’s Medical Center for over 8 years before coming to Lily’s Place, where he continues to learn and guide others in best practices for NAS care.
Dr. Moses has two grown children he has raised here in the Huntington area. Providing quality care for children and their families both at Lily’s Place and in his family practice is his way of giving back to the community in which he lives and works.
